Chef Fatima, humble as ever, was mystified by all of the support coming her way. As her following swelled daily, she reasoned that it was her cancer that was making her famous. But it wasn’t simply that she had cancer. It was her unconquerable spirit which drew people to her. Her tenacity, drive, infectious smile and love for life made people respond to her. These traits brought her early success, and when hardships arrived at her doorstep, those very traits carried her through the turmoil.

Today, Fatima continues to serve as a constant reminder for us to stay true to ourselves, dream big, face challenges bravely, give generously and love fearlessly. Because of this enduring inspiration, Fatima’s network of close friends and family have come together through the Chef Fatima Foundation to carry on her life’s work and keep her vision alive.
